MTV - Lost Weekend w/ Van Halen ID

I’ve been blabbing about my love of Craig Marks & Rob Tannenbaum’s MTV oral history I Want My MTV to anyone that will listen. I declare it (caps lock phrase on loan from Zodiac MF) NOT OPTIONAL.

One of the many amazing stories in the book is about a guy from Pennsylvania that won the hedonism-a-go-go contest that was Van Halen’s Lost Weekend. The winner didn’t mention that he was in a terrible accident and had a metal plate in his head and shouldn’t have been drinking. All hell breaks loose. It’s awesome.
